Today, I received a strange visitor called nihilism. His bleak appearance and slow, decisive gait exerted a strange fascination on me, so I decided to follow him on the street after he left.
I followed nihilism into an alleyway, where a beautiful woman’s face smiled at me with the promise of a thousand futures, but I couldn’t read them.
Meanwhile, nihilism has sought refuge in a library between rows of books. When I came to find him there, I thought of all the provisional truths they had unearthed, but they had become stale in my mind.
Nihilism had left the library and entered a wild forest. It had gotten so dark that my eyes could no longer adapt.
And so, after chasing my strange visitor for quite a while, briefly after sunset, at 6:18pm, nihilism had finally eluded me.
