Ankara! Good vibes, a visit to the historical fort, and a beautiful sunset. The small streets around the fort are pictoreque and I suggest they should be restored to their old glory to resestablish Ankara as a touristic city. But they are building apartments now, I can see the cranes working, standing on the fort and overseeing the city. It’s just a city like so many in Turkey. Atatürk decided to move the capital here because of its geography, that’s all. The sun has been energizing and the day a welcomed day off from my mission.
At night, I am hosted by two fun young Korean students and after an enjoyable conversation in Korean (I still speak the language a little) we have dinner together and I start to lecture on traveling over a good glass of wine.
